The K.C. Auto Hotel, 313 S. Cincinnati Avenue, was built in 1927 by real estate developer Kelly Conner and designed by architect Frank C. Walter. The concept of a parking hotel signified a one of a kind experience - and offered first class treatment. With valet parking and a uniformed staff of nearly two dozen that groomed the cars daily, the heated garage provided complete service including washing, detailing, refueling, and trained mechanics taking care of automobile maintenance. In the 1930s, new Chevrolets and Fords were available for rent. The roof featured a penthouse and miniature golf course, while the first floor included a waiting room and barbershop. The brick front was later refaced with stucco due to the corrosion. The seven-story building is now a self parking garage owned by American Parking. BONRAY stands in the former waiting room, across from the former barbershop - built in 2017.
